- Children’s Mental Health Ontario (CMHO) Annual Conference 2015 – Better Together: Collaborating for a Stronger Child & Youth Mental Health System – November 24, 2015
- Kathy Georgiades, Michael Boyle, Kathy Short and Ian Manion presented a keynote session to a packed house at CMHO 2015. Michael Boyle spoke to differences in student mental health needs between today and 30 years ago, drawing in comparisons to the 1983 OCHS. Kathy Georgiades presented preliminary findings from the SMHS. Kathy Short and Ian Manion wrapped things by discussing the importance of these findings for student health needs in schools and communities.

- Kathy Georgiades presented on the SMHS and another local study (the Hamilton Youth Study), focusing on evidence that examines the role of schools on student mental health and achievement.
- PHO Grand Rounds: The 2014 Ontario Child Health Study: Background, objectives, methods, and contributions to understanding children’s mental health – February 24, 2015
- The research team introduced the OCHS and SMHS projects and outlined what we will learn about child and student mental health and the potential impact of these findings.
